The Gomti Chakra Low Chair begins with the familiar silhouette of the modernist Kangaroo Chair, and then transforms it. What appears restrained at first reveals itself in the backrest—intricately hand-carved and set with Gomti Chakras, rare seashells long associated with abundance, protection, and quiet prosperity. Traditionally kept tucked away in safes, they are brought into the open here, becoming the soul of the piece.

Crafted in reclaimed teak, the structure is modernist and classic. The upholstery, handcrafted from upcycled hand-crocheted sarees, adds a nostalgic element. No two pieces of upholstery are exactly alike, and the colour ways can be customised to sit effortlessly within your space.
