Commissioned by The Woods at Sasan Resort for their luxury spa, this bespoke kinetic lighting installation reinterprets the quiet poetry of a bamboo grove as a suspended sculptural composition. Conceived exclusively for the space, the work explores the tension between stillness and movement, permanence and impermanence, transforming light into an ever-changing architectural element.
Brass and bamboo become the language through which this narrative unfolds. Handcrafted with exceptional precision, slender brass stems transition into illuminated bamboo poles that appear to hover effortlessly in space.
As with all of Rhizome's bespoke works, the installation was developed as a singular collectible piece—inseparable from its architectural setting. It is an expression of contemporary Indian design, where concept, craftsmanship, and material innovation converge to create an compelling piece.
