This bespoke bamboo installation was custom-designed and handcrafted for a family residence in Shilaj, Ahmedabad. The request of the family and interior designer was to create a unique lighting experience on their staircase, adding interest and character to the space. The installation would be viewable while ascending and descending the stairs and also from the floor above.

The clients were captivated when they laid eyes on a similar installation at our studio, and it was love at first sight for them. The form of the installation resembled a delicate 'Dandelion,' which resonated with their artistic sensibilities. There was an instant connection, and it became evident that this extraordinary piece of art was destined for their home. To ensure this installation harmoniously blended with their interiors, we opted for a striking red hue that accentuated their space, infusing it with a sense of vibrancy and sophistication.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

CARE GUIDE

1.Treat bamboo like you would wood. Do not leave in rain or harsh sunlight: over balconies and outdoor sit-outs are fine. 2. Cracking of bamboo is completely normal as it is a natural material, however, it won't impact the structural integrity. 3. The color of the rope may vary since we use upcycled textile ropes 4. We can customize the structure and weave color on request. 5. We are happy to freshen up your piece in terms of refinishing and reweaving for as long as you have it on request.
