This bamboo chair is a tribute to George Nakshima's iconic grass-seat chair. We sliced and exposed the bamboo edge, and incorporated from the master a simply woven seat and elegant spindles. When paired with the Nakashima footstool, it provides the ultimate comfort.

  • Turned bamboo structure with Rhizome's signature slice detail and handwoven upcycled polyster fiber seat. Can be customized in bamboo/upcycled silk/ upcycled cotton rope

CARE & REPAIR

1. Treat bamboo like you would wood. Do not leave in rain or harsh sunlight. Covered balconies and outdoor sit-outs are fine. 2. Cracking of bamboo is completely normal as it is a natural material, and it generally won't impact the structural integrity. 3. We are happy to repair, reweave and repolish your piece for as long as you own it, on request.
