This chair is a bamboo pastiche of George Nakshima's iconic grass-seat chair. It's chamfered bamboo edge, simply woven seat and elegant spindles are a small tribute to the master. When paired with the Nakashima footstool, it provides the ultimate comfort.

MATERIALS & TECHNIQUE

  • Hand-bent, turned, and machined bamboo structure. Seat woven in upcycled polyester rope. Can be customized in bamboo/upcycled silk/ upcycled cotton rope.

CARE & REPAIR

1. Treat bamboo like you would wood. Do not leave in rain or harsh sunlight. Covered balconies and outdoor sit-outs are fine. 2. Cracking of bamboo is completely normal as it is a natural material, and it generally won't impact the structural integrity. 3. We are happy to repair, repolish and reweave your piece for as long as you own it, on request.
