Wishboo

This collection reinterprets Wegner’s iconic Wishbone chair in bamboo. The design strategy included staying true to the logic of the form; using bamboo’s properties as carefully as Wegner used wood’s properties and adjusting the aesthetics and scale to make it recognizable but not identical.

The chairs are woven using different types of sustainable ropes, including recycled sari waste and natural fiber.
